Property building in Atour Hotel Suzhou Railway Station North Square Bole Shi
Location is a short 5mins walk from the main train station. Easy to get to most tourists spots on Line 2. Check in took a long time (more than 15minutes) to get our passports copied, etc. The reception forgot to charge us for our rooms when we checked in and then kept chasing us to go and make payment after that. You need to cut through Madison hotel (their check in lobby is on L1) and Atour is on L7. Apparently, both hotels are owned by the same owner and he thought its a great idea to put 2 hotels in the same building. Local food choices are plenty but may not be the best, maybe we are just not used to the local flavors (either too salty or too sweet). Room size is decent, good to have the washer/ dryer in room but they only provide 1 laundry pod a day.

The room was lovely and clean. Really big and comfortable. The staff were very helpful and went above what they needed to when helping with requests. The robot in the hotel used to deliver items to your room was an awesome surprise! The location was also really convenient for my needs with the right bus lines outside the hotel. I didn’t try the breakfast during my stay but it looked very good as I walked past.

The location is very convenient for access to the high speed rail. Most of my travels are through high speed rail and the metro. The room is very spacious. Although it says Room, it is like a service apartment. The checking in and checking out was very efficient. I would recommend this hotel if you need to use the trains as your means of transportation.

It’s spacious and packed with useful amenities like a good washing machine with dryer, high tech hair dryer, super comfortable pillows and mattress, and separated toilet, wash basin and shower.
